LESS IS MORE

Being minimal makes just as big of a statement as intricate, extravagant outfits. Make yourself the focus of your look instead of your outfit taking away from you. Achieve this easily by wearing basics in your wardrobe that are fit to a T. This trend centers around great tailoring and fabrics. Go for tailored separates that create a cohesive simple chic look, like a pair of fitted black slacks and a white blazer with a black scoop neck blouse. Finish it off with a pair of sleek red heels. Black and white is the easiest way to pull off this trend. For example, today's outfit amplifies the combination of basic statement pieces, such as the black turtle neck along with the simple black coat and in order to add some colour to the outfit I add a pair of silk navy high waisted trousers from Topshop. Furthermore, I highly recommend not to overaccessorize yourself when you try to achieve a minimal look, even for me it was a bit difficult since I like to bedazzle myself with necklaces, rings, and bangles. A similar look might be a grey coat and a pair of black ripped skinny jeans feel perfectly suited for weekend activities of all kinds. Black leather loafers are a smart choice to complete the look.
